Prokop Igor Jenő

"But through my microscope I can sense the cavalcade of similar momentary magic as well. I am an earthling like so many, seemingly animate and inanimate creatures of God abounding with colours and shapes. As time passes by I have experienced during my trips that all this is perishing. I do not want my children, my students, the explorers of the future not to be able to see this magic. I am presenting some fragments from the endless world and giving them to the spectators with love."
-These are Igor Jeno Prokop's words about himself, his philosophy and his understanding of the world.

"With every new painting I create I am trying to realize a "certain" quality from which I dare say that I sometimes almost seem to touch this, I am just trying to do the best I can, using the best to be durable in time. Before creating my paintings, oil on canvas, I make several studies with pencil on paper to get the best idea of perspective for the object represented."
- Symona Colina.

Raphael Sanzio

Raphael  and his pure beauty works!

He was extremely influential in his lifetime, but after his death the influence of his great rival Michelangelo was more widespread until the 18th and 19th centuries, when his more serene and harmonious qualities were again regarded as the highest models.

Vasari says that Raphael eventually had a workshop of fifty pupils and assistants, many of whom later became significant artists in their own right. This was arguably the largest workshop team assembled under any single old master painter, and much higher than the norm. They included established masters from other parts of Italy, probably working with their own teams as sub-contractors, as well as pupils and journeymen. We have very little evidence of the internal working arrangements of the workshop, apart from the works of art themselves, often very difficult to assign to a particular hand..

Alma-Tadema academic style

Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema was an English-Dutch painter.

He lived from 1836 till 1912. During a trip to Italy he got greatly interested in Classic Arts. The paintings of Tadema have many details and have a very realistic expression. Like Bouguereau his paintings are again appreciated in the last 20 years.

Experience the flowery and rich female qualities in his paintings.
